Which gauge system does your truck need?
Titan builds three versions of its TrueFill system. All three use guided wave radar probes, the TD100 transmitter family and the FINCH III display in the cab. What changes is the probe, and the probe is chosen by the liquid you haul. We confirm the fit when we quote; this is the short version.

What is in a Titan TrueFill install?
Every TrueFill install has the same parts: one probe per compartment, a transmitter that turns the probe reading into a volume, a FINCH III display in the cab, and a junction box that ties the wiring together. From there it depends on what you want the system to do.
- Level display in the cab for every compartment, so nobody climbs the tank to dip it.
- Overfill alarms at the levels you set, with a horn, a light or both.
- Automatic pump shutdown through the PTO or a solenoid when a compartment reaches its limit.
- Terminal overfill prevention, in place of the optic sensors that foul and get replaced.
- Commissioning from a phone with Titan Install, and the truck's configuration kept in Titan Portal for remote diagnostics.
Is my older Titan system still supported?
Yes. FINCH III is Titan's current display. The FINCH II-W and II-6W are at end of life, and the FINCH II, 5332E and in-cab units are discontinued. That means Titan no longer makes them, not that they stop working. We repair and replace parts on older systems while parts are available, and when a display or transmitter finally goes, we quote the upgrade to FINCH III.

- Yes. Brahmatech is listed on Titan Logix's dealer map for Red Deer, Alberta, and has sold, installed and serviced Titan tank truck gauges for years. Titan's head office is in Edmonton, so parts and factory support are close.
- Does a Titan gauge shut the pump off automatically?
- It can. TrueFill systems drive relays that shut the pump down through the PTO or a solenoid when a compartment reaches the level you set, as well as sounding an alarm. Which outputs get wired is decided at install.
- Will TrueFill work with my LCR meter?
- TrueFill PRO connects to the Liquid Controls LCR.iQ register over a serial link, so compartment volumes appear on the register and on the delivery ticket. Mention it when you ask for a quote on a fuel or lube truck.
- Is the system safe for fuel and crude?
- Yes. Titan certifies TrueFill for hazardous locations, which covers fuel, crude and most oilfield fluids. Brahmatech is a CSA panel shop and our journeymen wire intrinsically safe systems on wellsites every week, so the install is done to code.
- My display says Finch II. Can it still be repaired?
- Often, yes. Titan has discontinued the FINCH II, but repairs and parts are still possible while stock lasts. When a FINCH II can no longer be repaired, the current replacement is the FINCH III, which supports up to six compartments.
- Does a Titan gauge need calibration or maintenance?
- No routine maintenance. Guided wave radar has no float and no moving parts, so there is nothing to stick, foul or recalibrate. Titan backs the system with a three-year warranty.
- Do you service trucks outside Red Deer?
- Yes. We work across Central Alberta. Call to confirm coverage for your yard.
- What does a tank truck gauge install cost?
