Privacy Policy

Brahmatech Electric & Controls ("Brahmatech", "we") operates www.brahmatech.ca. This policy covers the website: what personal information it collects, why, and who it is shared with. Information you give us on a site visit, over the phone or under a contract is handled as part of our ordinary business records and is not covered here.
What the site collects
- The contact form. Your first name, last name and email address, plus anything you write in the enquiry fields — how we can help, how you heard about us, and a website address if you choose to add one. Name and email are required because without them we cannot reply; the rest is optional.
- Analytics and server logs. Pages viewed, the page that referred you, approximate location derived from your IP address, and browser type. Our host records the IP address of every request as part of serving the site.
The site itself sets no cookies. Google Analytics sets its own — see the providers below.
Why we collect it
Form submissions are used to answer your enquiry and quote your work. We do not sell personal information, and we do not add people who contact us to a marketing list. Analytics tell us which services people are looking for, in aggregate.
Who it is shared with
- Resend — delivers contact form submissions to our own email inbox. The site does not store submissions in a database.
- Vercel — hosts the site and provides aggregate, cookieless page-view analytics.
- Google Analytics — measures site usage, using cookies and approximate location, under property G-YM9L3TBFSP.
Each of these providers handles the information under its own privacy terms, to provide the service named above.
How long we keep it
Contact form submissions arrive as email and are kept with our business correspondence for as long as we need them to serve the enquiry and to satisfy record-keeping obligations. Analytics data is kept under each provider's default retention period.
Your choices
You can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing info@brahmatech.ca or calling (403) 896-8707. Under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act we will respond within 30 days. You can prevent analytics collection using your browser's cookie controls or a tracker-blocking extension.
